Springfield, IL — Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) Athletics is proud to announce that Cass Gym will serve as the host site for an NCAA Division II men's basketball game this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The matchup features Lincoln University (Missouri) and Purdue University Northwest, two strong DII programs that have selected Springfield as neutral territory for this highly anticipated non‑conference contest.
Both teams elected to meet at Lincoln Land Community College due to its central location, competitive‑level facilities, and strong support for collegiate athletics. Their decision positions LLCC as a regional hub capable of hosting high‑caliber NCAA events.
The teams are scheduled to arrive Friday evening for practice sessions as they prepare for Saturday's showdown. Fans, students, alumni, and community members are invited to attend and experience NCAA Division II basketball right here in Springfield.
