Loggers Make It Five In A Row

The Loggers are now 5-0 after defeating the Kishwaukee Kougars 3-0 today in Malta, Illinois.
The first half of the game, the Loggers owned the possession. However, the Kougers defense overloaded the box and had great play from their keeper, stopping the Loggers from scoring until late in the first half, when Smith scored from outside the goal box to end the half 1-0. The Loggers halftime changes allowed for more scoring chances, that paid off as they were able to find the goal two more times in the second half when Meyer put another one in after a Logger throw-in by Smith to Jallah in the corner, then Jallah immediately found Meyer wide open on the back post for a walk in goal. Hill would add another when her serve into the box found its way into the net.
