LLCC vs Johnson County
The Loggers traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to play in the Kirkwood Invitational. The Jr College Volleyball level being extremely high with plenty of ranked teams in the gym. The Loggers first took on #2 ranked Johnson County Community College.
 
Johnson County dominated the first set 25-10 over the Loggers. But The Land did not give up without a fight, taking the Cavilers to 4 sets, capturing the third set, 25-22. Lincoln Land dropped sets two and four 18-25.
 
Peyton Bregschneider led the Loggers in kills with 12 while McKenna Blackwell notched 7. Sophomore libero Olivia Torricelli added 9 digs to the defense while freshman middle blocker Sienna Hadley also chipped in 9 digs, while sophomore setter Kenna Bixby dished out 26 assists.
 
LLCC vs McHenry
Lincoln Land took on McHenry County College for the second game of the day. The Land took the match in 4 sets, with set scores including 25-20, 20-25, 25-10 and 25-14. 
 
Peyton Bregschneider led the Loggers in kills with 14 and had a hitting percentage of .333 while Hannah Clayton notched 12 kills on a .647 hitting percentage. Every Logger attacker hit over .300 %. Sophomore setter Kenna Bixby had 43 assists to establish a balanced offense. Freshman Faith Kientzle played the last two sets of the match as libero, chipping in 9 digs.
 
Sienna Hadley contributed 5 kills and 6 aces from the service line. Hailee Belsher earned 8 kills and tallied 2 blocks while Mckenna Blackwell added 11 kills from the right pin for the Loggers.
 
The Loggers look ahead to play Host School Kirkwood and Sauk Valley tomorrow. First match starting at 11:00 am and second match at 3:00 pm.
