Lincoln Land opens the season Oct. 20 and features a strong mix of home contests and regional competition
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Lincoln Land Community College men's basketball has announced its 2026-27 schedule, with the Loggers set to take the floor for another competitive season featuring a mix of regional opponents, road challenges and key home dates at home in Springfield.
The Loggers officially tip off the 2026-27 campaign with an exhibition scrimmage against Illinois College on Tuesday, Oct. 20, before heading to the Danville Area Community College Jamboree on Oct. 30-31. Lincoln Land will face Wayne County Community College and Mott Community College during the two-day event.
The regular season gets underway Monday, Nov. 2, when the Loggers welcome Carl Sandburg College to Springfield for a 7:30 p.m. tip.
Lincoln Land will face a demanding early-season slate, including road contests at Kaskaskia College, Rock Valley College and St. Louis Community College. The Loggers return home Nov. 24 to host Illinois Valley Community College.
The December schedule features several opportunities for Logger fans to see the team at home, including contests against St. Louis Community College, Kaskaskia College, Illinois Central College and Illinois Wesleyan University JV. Lincoln Land will also hit the road to face Spoon River College and Moraine Valley Community College before the holiday break.
Following the New Year, the Loggers return to action Jan. 6 at Danville Area Community College. January features a strong stretch of home competition, with Lincoln Land scheduled to host John Wood Community College, Blackhawk Talons, Parkland College, Lewis & Clark Community College and Spoon River College.
The Jan. 27 matchup against Lewis & Clark will serve as Scheels Night, adding another special event to the Logger home schedule.
Lincoln Land will close out the regular season with a busy February slate, including home dates against Danville Area Community College, Rend Lake College and Southeastern Illinois College. The Loggers will also travel to Illinois Central College, John Wood Community College, Parkland College and Lewis & Clark Community College.
The regular-season finale is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27, at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois.
With a schedule that takes the Loggers throughout Illinois and features numerous opportunities to compete in front of the home crowd, Lincoln Land is set for an exciting 2026-27 campaign.
