The Lincoln Land women's basketball team took on Moraine Valley College on the second day of the Parkland College classic and came away with a 75-51 victory.  The Loggers struggled early and managed a slim seven point lead at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter saw much of the same offensive struggles, but the Loggers increased their lead to 34-22 at the half. 

The Loggers had a solid third quarter with a 25 point period behind Megan Harrell who hit three consecutive field goals mid way through the period. The final period was fairly evenly matched as the Loggers increased their lead by four in the period.

Megan Harrell lead the Loggers with 21 points snd 12 rebounds. Avrie Schmidt also had a double double with 19 points snd 10 rebounds.  Sam Lindhorst was the only other Logger in double figures with 11 points respectively.  The Loggers forced 32 turnovers in the game. Lincoln Land improves to 2-0 on the season.
