The #8 ranked Loggers traveled to Bloomington to take on the Illinois Wesleyan University reserve squad and suffered their first loss of the season by a score of 76-75.
The Titans used hot perimeter shooting to down the Loggers. Illinois Wesleyan hit 16 three point baskets in the game while the Loggers only made two. At one point Lincoln Land trailed by as many as 17. The Loggers were able chip away in the second half and eventually tie the game at 67. Lincoln Land struggled from the field all night missing multiple uncontested layups. In addition, Lincoln Land had several unforced turnovers
"We weren't focused tonight, and that's on me" stated Logger Coach Chad Jones.
The Loggers fall to 6-1 on the season and will face a tough road test at Black Hawk College on Saturday.
