The Loggers hosted Rend Lake Community College for Sophomore Night, winning in 3 straight sets. Scores include: 25-16, 25-17, 28-26. Bella Pasquino returned to start for the Loggers after being out for an injury. The Loggers started off the first set strong, leading into a kill from Carly Michels. Macey Hynes entered the back row for Bella Pasquino, with outstanding passing. Carly Michels added another big kill to push the Loggers ahead, 9-7. Veach had two service points before forcing Rend Lake to a timeout at 12-9. After the timeout, Veach added six more points. The Loggers went on a four point service run, leading 17-10. Bella Powell served three service points, Ray Foutch subbed in to continue the service run adding two more points.
The Loggers started set two with a kill from Bella Powell. She then went back to the service line to add an ace. Josie Wolter added a kill, giving the Loggers a two point lead. Kierstyn Harmon entered into the set for Emily Veach. Rend Lake was forced to call a timeout with Powell on the service line. Pasquino had a stuff block to give the Loggers a 16-9 lead. Powell also added a tremendous block, forcing the ball straight down. Kenna Buchanan added two kills in the set pushing the Loggers to 23-13. Pasquino finished the set with a kill. Josie Wolter and Bella Pasquino both had two big kills to start the third set, 2-0.
The Loggers fell behind for the first time this match at 4-5 before Isabel Hudspeth destroyed the ball. Beatriz Bartolome entered the match to serve for Hudpseth and added three points for the Loggers. Pasquino killed the ball to force Rend Lake into a timeout. Wolter and Pasquino added a block to give the Loggers a one point lead. Michels added a kill and a big block by Hudspeth forced Rend Lake into a timeout with Hynes serving. Hynes continued serving, finishing with six points total. The Loggers were the first to 20 points kudos to a Carly Michels kill. The Loggers fell behind late in the third set but Hudspeth and Michels responded with a kill each. Extra points were needed but the Loggers came out on top winning 28-26.
Bella Powell led the Loggers with a double double, tallying 10 kills and 10 digs. Josie Wolter and Carly Michels both had 10 kills a piece. Isabel Hudspeth added 7 kills and 6 digs. Bella Pasquino added 7 kills and Macey Hynes had 6 digs.
