# 5 Lincoln Land Loggers women's basketball team struggled scoring Saturday and fell to Parkland 75-50. The Loggers were inconsistent offensively and finished the game 17/61 from the field for 28%. The loss dropped Lincoln Land to 26-4.
Lincoln Land found themselves down 18-8 after the first period. The second period wasn't much better for the Loggers as they trailed 41-20 at the half. Lincoln Land played a more inspired second half but were unable to overcome the early deficit.
Katryel Clark paced Lincoln Land with a game high 22 points. She also pulled down a team high 7 rebounds. Maclayne Taylor finished with 6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals.  Hannah Wallen had a game high 5 steals.
Lincoln Land begins Region 4 Tournament play Wednesday, March 4. The Loggers will host Lewis & Clark at Cass Gym. Game time TBD.
