The Logger's Rocket League team began their playoff run this week, taking on the Community College of Beaver County's Titans in round 1. The Top 8 teams from the regular season will compete through out the week in these playoffs in a best of 5 sets format.

Game 1 had Tyler "Becky." Beck and Sam "Slothishhh" Nuding take 2 goals a piece, securing the first game 5-1. In game 2 Nuding led the team with 2 goals which was leveraged into another game win 4-0. Game 3 marked the resurgence from the Titans as CSaq9 scored 2 goals, taking the game 2-1. In game 4 Beck rampaged the enemy team, taking 10 shots with half of them hitting their mark. The pressure was not let up by the Loggers as Nuding and Nogues also were able to score 2 goals, winning the game 9-3. With the set count at 3-1 the Loggers only needed one more game win to secure their place into Top 4. Game 5 began with the Titan's coming out of the gate swinging scoring an early goal. After regrouping, Nuding and Nogues worked together to tie up the game count 1-1. Becky sealed the win with a final goal in the last minute of the match that the Titan's could not contest, ending the final game 2-1.
 
The Loggers ended their first round of playoffs  with a 4-1 victory vs. Community College of Beaver County's Titans and will be playing their next match Saturday against their seasonal rivals Lackawanna. Check out all the action at twitch.tv/loggersesports!
