The Loggers swept Spoon River 8-5 and 8-7 in a MWAC conference DH. In game one, the Loggers had 4 players each get two hits. Cole Greer, Andy Lopez, Chase Kuntzman and Johnny Walder each tallied a pair of hits. Lopez and Kuntzman had 2 RBI's each while Walder had 3 RBI's. TJ Painter picked up the win in relief of starter Adam Deal. Painter pitched 3 innings and struck 3 while allowing no walks. In game two, the Loggers used the long ball to win. Andy Lopez went 3-3 with a 2B, HR and 2 RBI's. Justin Beggs belted a big 3 run HR. Jack O'Connor picked up the win in relief of Austin Troemper. Beau Atkins pitched the final 2 innings to pick up the save while striking out 5. 

The Loggers return to action tomorrow at Claude Kracik Field with a 3pm DH against Spoon River. The Loggers are now 17-6 overall and 7-3 in the MWAC.
