The #5 Lincoln Land Lady Loggers faced #1 ICC Saturday afternoon in Peoria. The battle between the two national powers came down to the final two possessions of the game. Katryel Clark scored two of her game high 23 points with 8.5 seconds remaining in the contest to give the Loggers a 70-69 advantage. ICC called a timeout and advanced the ball to the front court. After the timeout, ICC inbounded the ball to Summer Stoewer and she scored under the basket with 2.8 seconds remaining to reclaim the lead to 71-70. Lincoln Land then used a timeout and advanced the ball with one final attempt to win. On the inbound pass, ICC was able to pick off the pass denying the Loggers a chance for the win. The Loggers finish the season with a school record for wins with 25. The three losses were by a combined 10 points.
Coach Jones was pleased with the Loggers performance. "This was a great game with a tournament feel. Our girls were focused and played with energy and toughness. Even though we fell short, it was a fun atmosphere and helped us prepare for the upcoming tournament."
Katryel Clark finished the game with another double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Havilyn Dulin led the Loggers with 7 assists and had 12 points. Madison Jones finished with 12 points and Jolene Bueker added 10 points and 9 rebounds. Hannah Wallen had a game high 11 rebounds to go along with 8 points.

Lincoln Land will play the first round of the Region 24 tournament Wednesday, March 6 at Cass Gym in Springfield. Game time will be 5:30pm.
Lincoln Land ends the regular season at 25-3. The Loggers finished in second place in M-WAC play with a record of 8-2.
