The Lincoln Land Loggers men's soccer team played their first round of the Region 24 tournament playoff game Wednesday against the #2 seeded Illinois Central College. The Loggers played tough the whole game, but eventually fell by a 1-0 final.

 ICC controlled most of the play throughout the game. Douglas Moura and Connor Novy created some chances in the 1st half but no goals The LLCC defense was awesome and held the halftime score tied at 0-0. Cale Sherrock had 4 saves in the 1st half.

The second half was essentially the same story. With 7:00 left in the 2nd half ICC broke loose and scored a goal to take the game's first lead. Tibor Stankovic played a ball through to Juan Risqué for the goal. The Loggers got their chance when Connor Novy broke away from the defense and had a break away and hit a bomb to the lower corner that hit the post and went wide. LLCC failed to produce another chance and fell by a final score of 1-0.
