The Lincoln Land men's soccer team played at 2pm on Friday afternoon against Scott Community College. The two teams remained evenly matched until the 30:00 mark when Franco Clementi took the ball down the sideline and crossed it into the box to Connor Novy who put the ball into the net and gave the Loggers a 1-0 lead. Scott College quickly got on the attack and got down the field for a break away, fortunately LLCC goalie Josue Resendiz came up big and stopped the shot to keep the Loggers in the lead heading into the half. 

In the second half Lincoln Land put the game away as they were able to  strike again 12:00  Into the second half when Jack Madin passed the ball to Christian Fierro who Snuck pat a defender and rocketed a shot into the net to put LLCC up 2-0. Jose Torres added a late goal in the closing minutes of the game off a assist from Burak Togaz. 

​​​The victory gets Lincoln Land to 1-1 on the young season.
