The Loggers men's soccer team took on St. Charles today at home and came away victorious 3-0. Lincoln Land dominated the whole game and played very well all around. The Logger offense was clicking and defense was great, led by captain Matheus Sobucki. Cale Sherrock and Josue Resendiz played excellent in the goal for the combined shutout.

The Logger scoring started 10 minutes into 1st half when Christian Fierro passed the ball to Connor Novy who was able to put the ball in the net. The second goal was an unassisted shot by Andrew Watters who hit a hard shot from 25 yards out. The half time score was that 2-0 Logger advantage. In the second half the Loggers controlled the play and scored a third goal around the 70 minute mark when Dimitre Antonjevic assisted to Christian Fierro for the goal.

The Loggers are now 4-9 on the season and St Charles is 7-6. LLCC next plays against Joliet Junior College on Monday.
