"We played very well for three quarters," commented Coach Albert afterwards. "The second quarter really had a major effect on the outcome to today's game. We struggled on both ends of the floor during the second period and dug a hole that was difficult to come back from. Despite being down, the girls turned it around the second half and made a great run to get to within 8. Lindsey Storm came off the bench to spark our run. She was certainly a bright spot today which was something we really needed. I was very proud of the overall effort and the never say die attitude of the team as well. I believe the girls are understanding how important playing fundamental basketball combined with great energy can turn games around."
Madison Jones led Lincoln Land with 22 points. Lindsey Storm finished with a season high 17. Hannah Krukewitt and Denzelle Moore both pulled down 7 rebounds.
