Immediately after the match with DMACC, the Loggers turned around and faced off with Owens, the team it defeated in lat season's National Final Four.  A tough match, all four sets seesawed back and forth with three decided by bang-bang plays and calls at the net.  The Loggers kept the Express' offense in check behind the tough serving of Lainey Jackson and Kaylee Beekman which led to another sold team blocking effort.

"It would've been nice to beat Owens, but playing top 20 teams back to back is tiring and we had a few mental errors that came back to haunt us.  But I think it was encouraging to see us play hard start to finish; it wasn't a question of that, just getting tired," Coach Dietz said.  "But you get better when you play a tough schedule and tough teams and that was why we were here."
