Loggers Sweep Series Against Spoon River
Lincoln Land finished off a four games series sweep against Spoon River College on Monday, winning 14-3 and 6-2 over at Lenz Field in Jacksonville. The Loggers upped their

season record to 30-8 and are now 17-7 in the MWAC conference.
LLCC knocked out eleven hits in the shortened game one, including four home runs off the bats of Nick Maton (7), Michael Ryan (2) , Carson Armsbury (2), and Jonathan Walder (5). Dalton Fletcher was 3 for 4 with a double and five rbis. Freshman righty Matt Steinhoff (2-3) picked up his second win of the season allowing one earned run on three hits, two walks, and three strikeouts in four innings of work.
Rick Dour (5-1) earned the win in game two. Dour allowed two unearned runs in his six innings, allowing five hits and striking out eight. Walder hit his second home run of the day, Maton tripled, and catcher Clay Bachman was 2 for 4 with a double and two runs batted in.
Lincoln Land is scheduled to play next against Lewis and Clark Community College this coming weekend
