The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers defeated Danville Area C. C. in M-WAC play on Saturday 84-62.  Lincoln Land jumped out to a 28-13 first quarter lead and never trailed in the game.  The Loggers built upon their lead during the second quarter by outscoring the Jaguars 18-13 for a 46-26 halftime lead.
 

Coach Albert was pleased with the way Lincoln Land started the game.  "We were very good defensively throughout the majority of the game.  Our defensive pressure produced most of our scoring throughout the first quarter.  We knew the strength of Danville was their interior play so our guards needed to step up and create a lot of pressure on their guards.  Offensively, we shot the ball much better than the previous 3 games and we really shared the ball in our half court sets.  Molly Smith led the way today on both ends of the floor.  She finished well off the drive and knocked down a couple of three's.  Overall, it was a great team effort."

Lincoln Land forced 36 turnovers while committing 15.  The Loggers shot 31/70 from the floor for 44% and hit 7/21 from behind the arc for 33%.  LLCC out rebounded DACC 42-34,
Molly Smith led the Loggers with 20 points.  Kylie Crouse finished with 16, Sydnee LeGrande 13, Selena Bradshaw 9 and Hannah Krukewitt had 8.  LeGrande pulled down 6 rebounds. Bradshaw and Crouse dished out 7 and 5 assist each.

Lincoln Land improved to 12-8.
