The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers took on St. Louis Lady Archers Monday night but came up short, 71-49 . The Loggers were only down two at half time 35-33. Lincoln Land struggled to score in the third quarter which was the decisive quarter in tonight's loss. "The difference in the game tonight was the third quarter" Coach Albert stated after the game. "I thought we put ourselves in a good position going into the third quarter but for some reason we really struggled offensively. I think defensive pressure and the physicality of St. Louis really bothered us. We've played tough and physical teams all year but tonight we failed to match their intensity throughout the third quarter" added Coach Albert.
Molly Smith had 15 points for the Loggers. Bella Fisher contributed 8 points. Hannah Cameron and Bella Fisher each had 6 rebounds.
The Loggers are now 12-11 on the season.
