Even with the loss, Coach Albert saw some areas of improvement. "We competed tonight. The outcome wasn't what we wanted but we grew up a little tonight. We still need to be more consistent running some of our offensive sets but we we scored the ball. I like when we are aggressive off the dribble and we had possessions where we did that. On the defensive end, their size hurt us in the paint. We just have to work really hard for position to avoid being sealed. I was glad to see Denzelle Moore step up her game by getting a double/double of 10 points and 10 rebounds."
Four Loggers finished in double digit scoring. Madison Jones led the way with a game high 17 points. Molly Smith had 12 and Shelby Thompson scored 11. Denzelle Moore finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds while Nicole Robinson had 5 assists.
Lincoln Land is now 7-5.
