Coming off their Wednesday night victory over Illinois Central, a let-up could have been expected.  Instead, the Loggers came out on fire against Frontier, leading to a three-set sweep, including 25-3 in the first set.  The Loggers dominated the set at the net, blocking six balls and using other good touches to run the offense through Bailey Rexroad and Brook Soebbing on the left and right, a combination Frontier couldn't figure out.

That continued with the final two sets which saw good front-row play from freshman Maree Taig and a team leading four aces from fellow freshman Lainey Jackson.

"The girls were aware Frontier was fifth in the Region ahead of a team like Lewis & Clark and that they'd taken a set from Parkland a week ago.  I think that gave us some focus.  Rather than wait to see what Frontier was capable of, we came out aggressive and I think that shook Frontier.  As a coach, I was happy because you talk all the time about taking every opponent seriously, but few teams do.  We did tonight and it showed in the scores."
