The Lady Loggers opened conference play today against Lewis & Clark.  The Loggers held a first quarter lead but couldn't hold on and lost 50-77.  The Loggers shot a dismal 26.6% from the field compared to 41.5% for L & C.

"I didn't feel us competing hard enough the second half today," stated Coach Albert.  "We need to understand that conference games on the road are tough.  You have to put two good halves together in order to be in the game at the end.  Typically, we rebound pretty well but we got killed on the boards today.  Their size in the paint really caused us problems on both ends of the floor.  Offensively, we shot very well the fist 10 minutes today but from the second quarter on, we struggled.    Hopefully we can bounce back and make some improvements."

Kylie Crouse was the only Logger in double digit scoring with 10.  Molly Smith finished with 9 points.  Jordyn Hughes led LLCC with 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

Lincoln Land is now 11-7.
