The Loggers came up short in a region match up with the Cobras of Parkland, losing 7-0 in Champaign, Illinois. The Loggers were on the attack in the first half with Oscar Gordillo and Blake Dannehold leading the way. Gordillo had two shots on goal and Dannehold was creating many opportunities through midfield. Parkland got on the booard 20 minutes into the first half. They scored again 5 minutes later to go up 2-0. LLCC came back with a good effort from Seth Fink on a head ball from a cross from Jordan Lovell that sailed wide. Parkland scored again 10 minutes later to stretch the lead to 3-0 at the end of the first half. The Logger offense couldn't get things going in the second half. Jordan Lovell and Dalton Tim played well. Coach Pete Christofilakos stated, "They did all they could to try to keep us in the game on defense." Parkland continued their relentless scoring as they scored 4 more goals to closed out the game 7-0.
