8th ranked LLCC swept SWIC in a Region XXIV at Cass Gym on Wednesday evening.  The Loggers came out sluggish in the first game as the Blue Storm were able to push to a 10-8 lead before the Loggers kicked into a higher gear behind the serving of Kendall Knop, which permitted a Brea Cunningham block and a kill from Talesha Scott to help the Loggers win 25-19.  In game two, the Loggers continued fast, building a 10-2 lead on the serving of Kiersten Anderson and a steady all-around performance by the whole squad led the Loggers to a fast 25-16 win.  In the third, the Loggers blew it open 17-5 behind another run of serves by Kendall Knop who hit three of her match high six aces.  The Storm closed it late, but the Loggers still won 25-18.  
 
"I was worried for the first half of game one.  We were not focused in warmups and looked a little bit like we did down at Lewis & Clark and SWIC was taking advantage of that—we just weren't paying attention to their setter attacking the ball.  Once we did that, we righted the ship and everything wound up find."
