Loggers Lose 4-1 to Lewis & Clark

Lewis & Clark defeated the Loggers 4-1.  "The game was one sided in the first half," stated Coach Pete Christofilakos. "The ball was on our end of the field almost the entire half.  We were tired tonight as we played our 3rd game in 4 days."  Lewis & Clark had a goal from Rhys Saunders ten minutes into the game where he beat Seth Fink to near post to slide it past Logger Alex Clark.  The Trail Blazers' second goal came fifteen minutes later on a head ball by Mark Saddler who headed it over for the goal, despite goalkeeper Alex Clark getting a hand on it.  Logger offense was lacking in the first half with zero shots on goal.  The second half went the same way...Lewis & Clark's Nick Harper scored two goals at the sixty-minute and seventy-third minute.  Caleb Woods got loose down the side line and crossed the ball to Eli Hopkins for the only Logger goal at the seventy-eighth minute mark.  "Jordan Lovell and Tim Dalton played an excellent game on defense to keep us in the game.  Our offense struggled to get going with injuries to Oscar Gordillo and Brock Tober.

The Loggers are now 2-6-1 on the season and 0-4 in the conference.  The Loggers will host ICC on Saturday, September 24th at 1 pm.
