Oscar Gordillo
Lincoln Land Community College Men's Soccer had their last game of the season on Saturday for the first round in the playoff games, losing to Parkland 7-1. Coach Christofilakos stated, "we fought hard the whole game and we had held Parkland to a 2-1 score in the first half." The second half, Parkland went on a big run, scoring 6 more goals to end the game 7-1. The Loggers were led by Oscar Gordillo, who had the lone goal for LLCC. Gordillo dribble through three defenders before being taken down and earning a penalty kick for the goal. Alex Clark and Alex Hamerlink split the duties in the net. Coach Christofilakos commented, "Captain Dalton Timm led our defense. Timm was all over the field, causing trouble for the Cobra offense." Johnny Pugh led the Cobra offense with three goals and an assist.
Lincoln Land finishes the year with a 3-13-2 record.
