The Lincoln Land women's basketball team jumped out to a 10-2 lead and defeated Millikin University JV 58-36. The Loggers held a 33-18 halftime lead.
Lincoln Land didn't shoot particularly well and finished 23/65 from the field for 33.8%.
"We became a pretty good shooting team before the break," said Coach Albert after the game. " I think the long layoff may have had something to do with the low percentage. I was pleased with our defense pressure tonight. I would have liked to have seen us rebound better but we did force 32 turnovers."
Kylie Crouse led the Loggers with 14 points and Chloe Albert added 11. Albert and Selena Bradshaw both had 4 steals.
Lincoln Land improved to 11-3.Â
