The Lady Loggers traveled to St. Louis Wednesday but lost to the Archers 75-93. LLCC trailed 32-48 at the half.
Lincoln Land cut the lead to 7 in the third quarter but were unable to sustain the run. 28 Lincoln Land turnovers were a key reason for the loss. "Our turnovers came in the half court," said "We beat their press easily but we made poor decisions on our offensive half. Those turnovers cost us 43 transition points," commented Coach Gary Albert after the game. "We shot the ball decently but you just can't give the ball away that many times. We definitely need to improve defensively as well."
Rachel Alde led the Loggers with 24 points. Chloe Albert and Emmi Fisher each had 9.   Â
