The Loggers improve to 2-0 as they shutout Culver Stockton 3-0 at home despite intense heat. LLCC was in control the entire game. Coach Christofilakos was pleased with his team, "Everyone got minutes in today's win."
Luke Rectenwal started the scoring with an awesome 25 yard free kick shot to the upper 90 corner. Twenty-five minutes into the first half, Naba Alazhyri got a pass from Andrew Slater at top of the box that he buried in the side net to make it 2-0 at the half. The Loggers again dominated the second half as Zepher Mereighn scored what would be the final goal on a pass from Naba Alzhyri just 15 minutes into the half. Alex Clark started in the goalie spot the first half and Alex Hamerlink played the second half to keep the shutout alive.
