East Peoria -
The weather was very hot in East Peoria and the Loggers made it warmer as the defeated 8
th ranked (preseason) ICC 2-0. The Cougars were 3-0 going into the game tonight. Fifteen minutes in the first half, LLCC got on the board first as Dalton Timm played a long ball over the defense to teammate Oscar Gordillo who hit a 25 yard shot from the far corner.

The game went back and forth until the 30 minute mark where Blake Dannehold headed the ball to Timmy Kasa who buried a shot into the net for the Loggers' second goal. The second half saw ICC controlling the ball without scoring as the Loggers demonstrated a very tough defense. New Logger Coach Peter Christofilakos stated, "Goalie Alex Clark had a terrific game with 9 saves…ICC pounded our goalie with everyone attacking and they never scored."
