The Lincoln Land women's basketball won their first game of the year by defeating Black Hawk-Moline 65-61. LLCC led 39-33 at the half.
The Lady Loggers got off to a good start by connecting on 18/33 shots in the first half for 54.5%. The Loggers finished 25/61 from the field for 41%. LLCC had a season low 13 turnovers while forcing Black Hawk into 19. Both teams had 36 rebounds.

Freshman Chloe Albert
Lincoln Land finished strong down the stretch. Kelsey Traylor had a big offensive rebound put back and Sydnee LeGrande pulled down a vital defensive rebound on the next series. Kylie Course knocked down 2 free throws with 1.6 seconds left in the game to preserve the game. "We finally finished a game today," stated Coach Albert. "We were able to get stops on the defensive end and took care of the ball on the offensive end. Calee Fulling, Chloe Albert and Kesley Traylor did a great job coming in and making some big plays for us today."
Chloe Albert led the Loggers with 14 points and Eloise Sneddon added 10. Sneddon also had 3 steals.
LLCC is 1-3 on the season.
