Loggers Lose Last Home Game to #13 Ranked Lewis & Clark

Injuries continue to be a thorn in the side of LLCC lineup as the Loggers lose the last home game of the season to Lewis & Clark 3-1.  Thirteenth ranked (NJCAA) Lewis & Clark is also leading the region.  The Trailblazers got on the board early twice with two goals in the first 20 minutes of play.  The Loggers got on the board on a free kick by Ryan Brown from 40 yards out.  LLCC trailed Lewis & Clark 2-1 at the halfway mark.  The Loggers held strong until L & C scored their final goal with just 10 minutes left in the game.  Alex Clark and Alex Hamerlink split the goalie duties.  Coach Peter Christofilakos commented after the hard fought loss, "It is tough on playing time when you are short players.  With starters Zephen Mereighn, Jordan Lovell and Luke Rectenwal, we wear out faster."

The 4-8 Loggers will travel to Champaign, Illinois on Wednesday, October 14th to take on Parkland Community College Cobras at 4 pm.
