The Lincoln Land Lady Loggers defeated conference rival Lewis & Clark 71-66. The Loggers held a 34-32 halftime advantage and are now 2-1 in conference play.
Lincoln Land improved their shooting today by finishing 27/67 for 40% from the field. The Loggers had been struggling from the field recently and the shots were finally falling. "Eloise had a tremendous game for us today," said Coach Albert on Sneddon's offensive performance. "She really was a boost for us and going 3/5 from behind the arc was huge. Kelsey Forsythe also stepped up on the offensive end today as well. She's typically one of our defensive stoppers but had a great scoring day. Defensively we forced a lot of turnovers which was probably the difference in the game. I was really proud of the effort and how we handled ourselves on both ends of the floor."
Sneddon and Forsythe finished the game with 17 and 16 respectively. Rachel Alde contributed 13 points and Gretchen Hobbie pulled down 8 rebounds. Forsythe added 4 steals for the Loggers.
Lincoln Land improved to 10-11 on the season.
