LLCC baseball posted 13 hits but it just wasn't enough as Central Florida wins 14-11. Logger pitchers gave up 18 hits in the loss. Starting pitcher, Reed Willenborg went 3.2 innings, allowing 9 runs on 11 hits. Zeke Rowe (0-1) was credited with the loss in relief. LLCC went into the bottom of the 4
th inning ahead 8-6. Central Florida scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 4
th before being stopped by relief pitcher Lucas Hall. LLCC scored 1 run in the 6
th inning and 2 in the 9
th but came up short after allowing 5 more runs in the 7
th to Central Florida.
Austin Muench, Sam Goode, Will Schneider, and Tyler Borski each had 2 hits. Michael Reavy led the Loggers in hitting going 3-for-5 with 3 RBIs. Andrew Levitt led off the 5
th inning with a solo homer to center field.
LLCC is now 5-3 on the season. The Loggers will take on South Florida tomorrow at 6 pm.
