The Lady Loggers defeated Carl Sandburg 51-27 and complete a two game sweep in the Lincoln Land Basketball Classic.  LLCC led at halftime by the score of 28-7.

Lincoln Land finished the game 21/62 from the field for 34%.  The Loggers went 4/7 from the free throw line for 57%.  

Logger Coach Gary Albert had this to say about the team's performance. "We obviously didn't shoot particularly well tonight but we did a very nice job on the defensive end.  I thought we pressured the ball well and worked hard on the defensive block.  Any time you can hold your opponent to two made field goals in a half is extremely good."

Hannah Hergenrother drained four 3's to lead the Loggers with 12 points.  Gretchen Hobbie finished with 9 and Rachel Alde contributed 8 points. Kelsey Forsythe finished the game with a game high 12 rebounds and 6 steals.

Lincoln Land improved to 7-9 on the season.
