The Lady Loggers fell to Sauk Valley by a final score of 64-70. The score at half time was tied at 30. The score of the game was close throughout, with Sauk Valley's largest lead on the Loggers only being seven points.
"We battled the entire game," said Coach Albert. "Their size gave us some problems, but we really hurt ourselves by not always defending the high ball screen like we should have. Our free throw shooting was bad today. We finished 8 for 20 for 40%. Overall, I was proud of the way we competed."
Sauk Valley made 19 of their 31 free throws attempted. Breonna Lewis was the top scorer for the Loggers with 13 points and 4 steals. Kasi Korza contributed 12 points.
