The Lady Loggers held a 29-24 lead over Lake Land at the half but weren't able to close out the game and lost 64-59.
The Loggers were outscored by 18 points from the charity stripe tonight and that proved to be the difference. Lincoln Land struggled from the free throw line, hitting only 4 of 15 shots. Lake Land went 22 for 32 from the free throw line. Coach Gary Albert said, "I'm not sure why, but we've struggled from the line in our last two games. Free throws are something we work on every practice and I'm very disappointed in our performance there. We also gave up some late 3's and that's Lake Land's strength."
Breonna Lewis led the Loggers with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Jessica Armour added 12 points and Kasi Korza finished with 8 rebounds.
The Loggers fell to 8-4 on the season.
