Lincoln Land jumped out to a 44-23 halftime lead and defeated Division 1 Rend Lake 69-57. The Loggers are now 3-0 on the season. LLCC out rebounded the Warriors 50-43 and finished the game shooting 24/68 from the floor for 35%.

Coach Albert said the first half was the key, in the victory. "We came ready to play the first half both offensively and defensively. We had a tremendous first half offensively. The girls were patient offensively and knocked down the shots we wanted. Defensively, we rebounded fairly well and we were able to make Rend Lake play a half-court game. We had a little let down late in the game but we were able to withstand the run they made at the end."

Jessica Armour led the Loggers in scoring with 19 while Breonna Lewis added 15. Kasi Korza finished with 9 points and 13 rebounds and Hannah Funneman pulled down 9 boards.
