It was a great night in Belleville as Southwestern Illinois hosted a volleyball match to "Block Out Cancer". LLCC came away with a three-set victory, led by the all-around play of Morgan Hauser and the hitting in game three of Andrea Inman (who hit .556 for the match).

After the game Coach Jim Dietz commented, "We played well most of the night, but it was more impressive to see how much SWIC did for cancer awareness. I think some of our players were shocked at how many cancer survivors were in the crowd, and how many people were listed who have died from cancer related to SWIC's players. That's far more important than the score on the board."
