The LLCC Men’s Soccer team advances in the Region 24 playoffs by beating Southwestern Illinois College 4-2. 

Darwin Soto scored the first goal with AJ Delgado scoring the second goal in the first half to give the Loggers a 2-0 half-time lead.  Stuart Mitchell scored the third goal before SWIC scored two unanswered goals.  Logger freshman Luis Checa scored the final goal in the second half to defeat the Blue Storm.

3rd seeded LLCC will play 2nd seeded Lewis & Clark in a semi-final match up on Wednesday, October 24th at the Trailblazers home field in Godfrey, Illinois.  Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
