Morgan is a 2025 graduate of Lincolnwood High School, where she was a member of both the volleyball and softball programs, earning a total of eight varsity letters.
In volleyball, as a freshman, Morgan received the JV MVP Award, as well as the Varsity MVP and Varsity Star Awards. As a sophomore, she earned IVCA Academic All-State honors and received the Varsity Star Award.
In softball, she was named to the Macoupin, Sangamon, and Montgomery County All-Conference Honorable Mention Team and received the Varsity Best Glove Award.
During her junior year, Morgan achieved IVCA Academic All-State honors again in volleyball and was named 1A All-State Honorable Mention. She was also selected to the Macoupin, Sangamon, and Montgomery County All-Conference First Team, and received the Varsity MVP and Serving Awards. Additionally, she was named MVP of the Montgomery County Invitational Tournament and was selected to the Morrisonville All-Tournament Team.
In softball that same year, Morgan was named to the Macoupin, Sangamon, and Montgomery County All-Conference Second Team and received the Varsity Hustle Award.
As a senior in volleyball, Morgan was named to the IVCA Academic All-State Team for the third time, earned IVCA 1A All-State Second Team honors, and was again named to the Macoupin, Sangamon, and Montgomery County All-Conference First Team. She served as varsity captain and earned the Varsity MVP and Serving Awards. She was named MVP of the Montgomery County Invitational Tournament and was selected to both the Morrisonville and Waverly Tournament All-Tournament Teams. She also broke the school record for serving aces, with a total of 229.
In softball, she earned Macoupin, Sangamon, and Montgomery County All-Conference Second Team honors and received the Varsity Offensive Award.
Academically, Morgan is a four-time Academic All-Conference selection and a three-time IVCA All-Academic honoree. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars, and was named a 2025 Illinois State Scholar and the 2025 DAR Good Citizen.
Morgan played club volleyball with the Springfield Shock Volleyball Club for five years. She plans to attend the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to major in Agricultural Economics and pursue her MBA. She is the daughter of Scott and Lesley Cowdrey.
