Lincoln Land Community College Athletics

Makenna is a 2021 graduate of North Mac High School where she was a member of the Volleyball, Basketball and Track and Field teams earning nine varsity letters. During her freshmen year she was named the Best Hitter at Lincoln Christian College Camp. During her sophomore season she was named to the Ray Long Classic All-Tournament Team, the North Mac Offensive Player of the Year, the Lincoln Christian College All-Camp Team, Macoupin County All-Tournament Team and was a Third Team All-Sangamo Conference selection. While a junior she was named to the Montgomery County All-Tournament Team, the North Mac Offensive Player of the Year and a Third Team All-Sangamo Conference selection. As a Senior she tabbed Honorable Mention All-Sangamo Conference and the North Mac Offensive Player of the Year. She Graduated in the top ten percent of her class, was Sangamo Academic All-Conference member three times and the National Honor Society secretary. She plans to earn her BSN and become a trauma nurse. She is the daughter of Matthew and Carrie Buchanan.
