Biography

Parents: Dunavan Billups & Julie Bruneau
Major: Math
Payton graduated from Streator High School in 2012. She played varsity softball all four years. Honors she received were Rookie of the Year in 2010, and the Most Valuable Outfielder her junior year. She was named to the Big 12 All-Conference first team and the All-Academic team. She helped SHS win Regional Championships in 2009 and 2010. Payton was selected for the 2013 Region XXIV All-Region Team – 1st team, designated hitter. Payton will attend Illinois State University and study accounting and actuarial science. She is a Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.
