Katie is a 2012 graduate of Altamont High School. She played on the varsity softball team all four years of her high school career and was chosen MVP two years. She was named MVP of the National Trail Conference her senior year and was a member of the All-Conference team all four years. She was selected for the Decatur Herald & Review All-Area team (senior), and received an honorable mention her junior year. Katie was selected third team All-State 1A in 2011 and second team in 2012. Katie was inducted into the Altamont High School Hall of Fame in 2012. She was a member of the Mattoon Pride NSA “A” World Series Champion team. 2013 (college) Katie was selected to the 2013 Region XXIV All-Region Team as a college freshman.

She is going to study business and play softball at Georgia-Gwinett and eventually become an entrepreneur. Katie is a St. Louis Cardinals and a New Orleans Saints fan.
