Joe Zimmerman (Assistant Coach)
Joe is a retired high school principal who has an extensive background in coaching softball.  He has coached at the high school level and as a summer competitive ASA coach for over 14 years. Joe also coached the Bloomington Hearts Women’s Softball Team (Women’s Majors) for six years. 

Coach Zimmerman is also in his 8th year as an assistant coach. As a coach, Joe has had the pleasure of coaching his two daughters, Jenna and Jessica (Jenna played softball at LLCC 1998-2000) in summer ASA travel softball.  Coach Zimmerman has also coached baseball and basketball at Mt. Pulaski High School.  Coach Zimmerman is a graduate of Illinois State University.
