Lincoln Land Community College Athletics

Mick is a 2023 graduate of North Mac High School. He was a member of the basketball, soccer and track programs earning seven varsity letters. His Junior year he was member of the All-tournament teams for the New Berlin, Turkey tournament, the Waverly, holiday tournament, and the Macoupin County tournament. He was voted to the All Sangamo conference team that same year. For his Senior year he was selected to the All-tournament teams for the New Berlin Turkey Tournament and the Macoupin County Tournament. He was a member of the South-Central all-conference team and voted to the Rotary All Star Team. Academically, he was an Illinois State Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society and All Academic Sangamo Conference. He plans to attend a four-year school upon his graduation from LLCC. He is the son of John and Carrie Downs.
