Austin is a 2013 graduate of Auburn high School.  In high school, he was named All-Conference in baseball for four years, All-Conference in football and basketball for three years.  Austin was named All State in baseball one year.  He plans to attend UIS to continue playing baseball and continue his education. His favorite sports teams are the St Louis Cardinals, the Chicago Bears and the Fighting Illini.
