Loggers Take One Game from Top Seed ICC

Loggers Fall After Strong Showing By ICC Cougars Baseball

April 7, 2026 vs. ICC Cougars Baseball

Loggers couldn't keep up with 26 ICC Cougars Baseball and fell 7-0 on Tuesday. 

ICC Cougars Baseball got on the board in the second inning after Miller hit a solo home run to left field. ICC Cougars Baseball added one run in the third. McCoy singled down the right field line, making the score 2-0.

Bolen earned the win for ICC Cougars Baseball. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking one. Buhs took the loss for the Loggers. The starter went five innings, surrendering four runs (three earned) on four hits, striking out six and walking five. Turner, Lennington, and Brown each collected one hit for the Loggers.

Miller and Heider each collected two hits for ICC Cougars Baseball. Morrill, McCoy, Miller, Heider, and Graham each drove in one run for ICC Cougars Baseball. ICC Cougars Baseball had a strong eye at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Lapp and Heider led the team with two walks each. Morrill stole two bases. ICC Cougars Baseball ran wild on the base paths, accumulating three stolen bases for the game.
 

Bowles Drives 4 Runners Home In Loggers Victory Over ICC Cougars Baseball

April 7, 2026 vs. ICC Cougars Baseball

Bowles drove in four runs on three hits to lead the Loggers past the ICC Cougars Baseball 15-7 on Tuesday. Bowles doubled in the eighth scoring two, walked in the fourth scoring one, and tripled in the seventh scoring one. Bats blistered as the Loggers collected 18 hits and ICC Cougars Baseball tallied nine in the high-scoring game. The Loggers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Geis hit a sacrifice fly, and Barnes singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. The Loggers added two runs in the second. Cox singled to center field, making the score 4-0.

Heider singled , which helped ICC Cougars Baseball tie the game at four in the top of the fourth.

The Loggers captured the lead, 8-4, in the bottom of the fourth after Bowles walked, Cox hit a sacrifice fly, Geis doubled, and Barnes hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run. Wajda earned the win for the Loggers. The southpaw surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out none and walking two. Vanderheydt took the loss for ICC Cougars Baseball. The starting pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits, striking out two and walking seven. Stellano stepped on the mound first for the Loggers. The righty allowed seven hits and four runs over three and one-third innings, striking out two and walking one. Cooper appeared in relief for Loggers.

The Loggers accumulated 18 hits in the game. Cox drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Loggers with six runs batted in. The outfielder went 3-for-3 on the day. Bowles, Cox, and Moffatt each collected three hits for the Loggers. Turner, Herman, and Brown each collected multiple hits for the Loggers. Bowles paced the Loggers with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game. The Loggers ran wild on the base paths, amassing three stolen bases for the game. The Loggers turned three double plays in the game.
 ICC Cougars Baseball piled up nine hits in the game. Humphrey, Brucker, and Lapp each collected two hits for ICC Cougars Baseball. Brucker and Lapp each drove in two runs for ICC Cougars Baseball.
