The Loggers split on day 2 of their Opening Weekend Tournament losing to Monroe Community College 22-25, 25-13, 17-25, 13-25, and defeating Harper College 21-25, 25-18, 9-25, 25-22, 15-12.
 
During their match against Monroe, Gracie Brockett lead in kills with 8, Harper Darr followed closely with 7, Izzy Link with 6, and Ella Kinkelaar with 4. Kinkelaar also led in assists with 18, while Kaylee Abens had 5. Izzy Link was on fire at the service line with 7 aces on the match, and Morgan Cowdrey pitching in 5 aces. Kaylee Abens led the back court with 8 digs, while Izzy Lynch had 4. 
 
The Loggers stepped up their intensity versus Harper College, winning in a 5-set battle. Savannah Kaeb led the Loggers in kills with 12, earning an impressive .455 hitting percentage. Harper Darr contributed 10 kills and earned herself a .438 hitting percentage, while Gracie Brockett had 7 kills, Izzy Link had 6, and Addison Clark with 4. As a team, the Loggers produced a .252 hitting percentage. Izzy Link was on fire with her serve again, earning the Loggers 6 aces. Morgan Cowdrey contributed 28 assists this match, while Ella Kinkelaar had 8. Savannah Kaeb and Izzy Link each had 2 solo blocks, while Izzy Lynch led the Loggers in digs with 11, Kaylee Abens and Izzy Link each had 8, and Morgan Cowdrey with 6. The Loggers travel to Parkland College this Wednesday, August 27, to take on the Cobras at 6 pm.
