Game 1 - Lincoln Land Loggers Come Back To Defeat Cuyahoga Community College

The Loggers rallied to top Cuyahoga Community College 8-6 on Saturday at Hancock Park. The Loggers trailed by as many as four runs during the game. Brooke Goetter collected three hits in five at bats in the win. Brooke Goetter hit a home run to center field in the seventh inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the first inning.
The Loggers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Shelby Finchum singled to center field, and Lincoln Land Loggers scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.
Cuyahoga Community College flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring five runs on five hits to take the lead, 6-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to right field by Tabetha Thomas that drove in two.The Loggers scored one run in the top of the sixth on a solo home run to left field by Abby Hendricks.

Julee Phillips took the loss for Cuyahoga Community College. The starting pitcher went seven innings, giving up eight runs (three earned) on eight hits, striking out 13 and walking eight. Faith Nestler started in the circle for the Loggers. The pitcher allowed seven hits and five runs over four innings, striking out two and walking none.
Brooke Goetter and Shelby Finchum each collected three hits for the Loggers.The Loggers had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Abby Jackson and Abby Mcdonald led the team with two free passes each.
Cuyahoga Community College amassed 11 hits in the game. Gabriella Nieves drove the middle of the lineup, leading Cuyahoga Community College with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Gabriella Nieves, Ashlyn Allen, and Tabetha Thomas each collected two hits for Cuyahoga Community College.

Game 2 - Finchum Leads Lincoln Land Loggers Past Erie CC

Shelby Finchum collected three hits in three at bats, as the Loggers defeated Erie CC 9-1 on Saturday at Hancock Park. Shelby Finchum hit a solo home run to right field in the third inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the fourth inning. Erie CC opened the scoring in the first after #7 scored after tagging up.
The Loggers captured the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the second when Maddie Adams singled, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs. The Loggers added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Shelby Finchum homered to right field, and Maddie Adams singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Brooke Boden earned the win for the Loggers. The starter gave up two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one. #48 took the loss for Erie CC. The starter went three innings, giving up eight runs (six earned) on 10 hits, striking out none and walking one. Reagan Jonas tossed one inning of no-run ball for the Loggers in relief. The pitcher surrendered one hit, striking out two and walking two.
The Loggers amassed 11 hits in the game. Maddie Adams and Abby Mcdonald each drove in two runs for the Loggers. Sam Gleckler stole three bases. Lincoln Land stole seven bases in the game. The Loggers didn't commit a single error in the field. Emmy Renfro had the most chances in the field with six.
#14 led Erie CC with one run batted in. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day. #18 went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Erie CC in hits.
